What is the Roast?
The annual Jubilee Roast is the primary fundraising event for Jubilee Association of Maryland, Inc. Each year, we honor a Montgomery County leader at the Roast. Our honoree for the 2014 Jubilee Roast is Joe Theismann, former Super Bowl-winning quarterback of the Washington Redskins.
The event includes a reception and seated dinner for 600 guests, during which we show a film highlighting Jubilee's work in the past year and speakers "roast" our honoree in good humor and fun. This year, we also will have a silent auction during the reception. The funds raised support Jubilee's work to provide high-quality residential services and supports to adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Jubilee Association of Maryland provides community living supports to adults with developmental disabilities, such as Down syndrome, autism, intellectual disabilities, spina bifida, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Currently, Jubilee provides services to
130 beneficiaries in 66 locations.
A Special Thanks to All Our Roast sponsors!
